mevcuttur. Bu çalışmaların repertuarını genişletme katkısı gözeterek
hazırlanan bu sayıda, söz konusu temel alanların alt başlıkları
şöyledir:

· Dans, kültürel üretimler

· Dans, gelenek, politika

· Globallik ve glokallik perspektifinden dans ve beden sunumları

· Bedensel temsiller, alt metinler

· Tarihsel müzikoloji-etnokoreoloji

· Etnomüzikoloji-etnokoreoloji

· Dans etnografisi ve düşünümsellik

· Sahneleme, ideoloji, estetik

gozde.colakoglu at gmail.com adresine (Word belgesi olarak)

PORTE AKADEMIK JOURNAL DANCE ISSUE

CALL FOR SUBMISSION

The studies on the dances in the world are executed by the
ethnochoreologists stressing on understanding the movements in the
cultural context instead of the dance historians studying generally
what is dance and how should it be examined. One of the arguments of
ethnochoreology used synonymously with dance ethnology and
anthropology of the body movements is that the culture has to be
studied to have a better understanding of the body movement system of
this culture. The main subject of the literature developed as the
dance ethnology is the content of the dance and in this context the
main aim of the cultural formation analysis is to explain the dance.
The studies about minorities, gender, cultural and ethnic identities
by stressing on the interculturalism and relating the dance with the
symbolism as well as examinations of the content of the dance itself
are among the subjects of the dance ethnology. On the other hand, the
main goal of the anthropological studies developed especially in the
American tradition, is to understand the dance not just in its
cultural context but also to understand the society by analyzing the
body movement systems.

In the ambiguous disciplinary background of the studies focused on the
dance, there are lots of studies in various areas such as the
contributions on the analysis of the cultural history based on the
dance, the utilization of the dance in the cultural productions, dance
and body movement in the anthropological/ sociological/ philosophical
approaches, and dance analysis in the historical texts. Aiming to
improve the volume of the above mentioned studies, this issue will
cover the sub-subjects of this main area, which are:

· Dance, cultural production

· Dance, tradition, politics

· Dance and body presentations in the perspective of globalism
and glocalism

· Body representations and subtexts

· Historical musicology- ethnochoreology

· Ethnomusicology- ethnochoreology

· Dance ethnography and reflexivity

· Staging,ideology,aesthetic
The translated articles or original papers under these sub-subjects
for the PORTE AKADEMİK / 'Dance' issue should be submitted to the
e-mail address <gozde.colakoglu at gmail.com> as a MS Word file. The
original papers have to be not published before and the responsibility
of the ideas belongs to its author. The articles, which are translated
from any language to Turkish, have to be sent along with the original
copy of the text. The original papers and translated articles,
arranged according to the submission rules, should be sent to the
