[Bilimsel Haber] CfP: Turkmenistan Research Group

[Onur Inal]

Call: Turkmenistan Research Group

A group of scholars from Amsterdam (University of Amsterdam, Free
University of Amsterdam, International Institute of Social History) is
interested in joining forces with other scholars in Europe, the United
States and elsewhere for an exchange on serious research on
Turkmenistan. Our aim is a first series of expert round tables on
history, archaeology and ethnography, to take place in 2011 and 2012,
with the participation of Turkmen colleagues. The medium-term goal is
to identify topics for joint research projects and to establish
cooperation with Turkmen academic institutions. Scholars - including
junior researchers - currently working on Turkmenistan (or having
concrete plans to do so) are kindly invited to contact us, and to
propose topics for discussion and presentations.
