Researchers and scholars from all disciplines are invited to submit 
papers addressing the impact of Darwin’s ideas in the Humanities and 
Social Sciences. Both disciplinary-specific and broadly 
interdisciplinary approaches are encouraged.

Papers accepted for the symposium will be included in a volume to be 
published by San Diego State University Press.

Please submit abstracts of no more that 500 words in length to 
mark.wheeler at sdsu.edu *no later than 30 November 2008*.

Accepted papers must be completed by the date of the symposium to be 
included in the published proceedings.

Accepted papers will be announced 1 February 2009.
