International Symposium on Globalization and Turkic Civilization
November 10-11, 2005, Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan
The Center for Turkic Civilization Studies is pleased to announce the
International Symposium on Globalization and Turkic Civilization to be
held on
November 10-11, 2005, at the Kyrgyz-Turkish Manas University, organized
on the
occasion of the 10th anniversary of the establishment of our University. The
main aim of the Symposium is to gather the scientists who study in this
field,
to evaluate the studies made before and to determine the goals in the
future.
Besides, during the symposium, round-table meetings will be organized
where the
participants can discuss the problems of integration of Central Asian Turkic
Republics.
It is possible for the participants of the Symposium to present their
papers in
the Kyrgyz, Turkish, English and Russian languages. The participants'
expenses
in Kyrgyzstan including accommodation, excursions and meals will be met
by the
Organization Committee. During the Symposium, we plan to organize guided
visits
to the historical places and traces related to the Turkic Civilization in
Kyrgyzstan.
The participants are cordially asked to send the titles of their
presentations,
abstracts and their valid addresses to the following address by
September 20,
2005.
