The Foundation of Lausanne Treaty Emigrants (LMV) and KEMO (Center for =
Minority Studies) are organizing 3 Conferences in partnership to =
consider and examine the problems of "Rum" minority of Istanbul and =
Muslim Turkish minority of Western Thrace within the framework of the =
project granted by "Greek-Turkish Civil Dialogue Program" of EU-EC. The =
activities of the project called "Bound for Citizenship In Western =
Thrace, Istanbul and the Aegean" comprise 3
conferences with the respective themes, "Minorities and Education" (took =
place in Komotini), "Minorities and Media and Civil Society" (in =
Istanbul) and
"Minorities and Freedom of Faith and Religious Expression" (in =
Komotini).=20
The Conference in Istanbul will take place at Nippon Hotel - Taksim on =
26 February 2005. If you intend to attend this Conference please fill =
