JOB- Position for Scholar of Islam, Dept. of Comp. Religion, Tufts University

The Department of Comparative Religion at Tufts University is seeking an 
Islamicist for a one-year replacement during the school year 2004/5.

Candidates should be able to teach introductory courses in Islam as well as 
at least one upper level course. Specialization within Islam is open, 
although preference will go to candidates with Ph.D. in hand and 
demonstrated teaching and research experience.
