Nurmuhammet Hanamov is former Turkmenistan's Ambassador to Turkey and
Israel, and Co-chairman of the Republican Party of Turkmenistan in exile.
Vitaly Ponomarev is the Director of the Central Asia Program at the Memorial
Human Rights Center, Moscow, and a recognized expert on Turkmenistan and the
region.
Farid Tukhbatullin is a civil society activist and co-chairman of the
Ecological Club in Turkmenistan. He was charged, sentenced, and later
released for conspiring to carry out the attempted assassination of
President Niyazov in November 2003.
Khudaibedy Orazov is former Deputy Prime Minister and a prominent leader of
the Turkmen opposition movement in exile.
Peter Zalmayev is the CIS Program Manager at the International League for
Human Rights.
