American Association of Teachers of Turkic Languages (AATT) Bulletin

We invite scholars of Turkish and Turkic languages and cultures to
submit articles and reviews on the general theme of "Acquisition" for
the Winter 2013 issue of the AATT Bulletin. Under that theme, we are
interested in topics ranging from media and technology in the classroom,
language instruction materials (including apps and websites),
methodologies, study abroad, immersion, and assessment to linguistics,
literature, and culture for our upcoming edition.

Deadline for submissions: September 1, 2012.

Submissions should be in English and not exceed 3500 words.

Manuscripts should follow the Chicago Manual of Style. Authors should
use endnotes instead of footnotes. There is no need to send a separate
bibliography. Double-spaced Word files may be sent as e-mail attachments
to the AATT editor, Erdağ Göknar: goknar at duke.edu<mailto:goknar at duke.edu>.

The AATT Bulletin aims to foster communication among scholars of
Turkish, Azeri, Kazakh, Kirgiz, Tatar, Turkmen, Uyghur, and Uzbek. It is
published annually, under the auspices of the American Association for
Teachers of Turkic Languages, and with support from Indiana University
Ottoman and Modern Turkish Studies Chair. For advertising rates, please
contact Dr. Ferida Hatiboğlu, Executive Secretary-Treasurer of AATT, at
<feride at sas.upenn.edu>. For other questions regarding format, or copies
of past issues (since 1999), please contact the editor.
