*Dear friends and colleagues,*

* *

*Last year we published a new version of /Feminist Europa. Review of
Books 2009/2010 /focussing on FGM with an almost complete bibliography
of the subject; it can be downloaded as usual free of charge at
www.ddv-verlag.de <http://www.ddv-verlag.de> gender studies.*

* *

*Since we are preparing a new issue of FE 2011/2012 which is to deal
with "women and music," i. e. reviews of books about music made by women
or books on female composers or on works celebrating "women and music"
or other relevant subjects. *

* *

*Please have a look around in your respective countries for
publications with the subjects mentioned, and send us reviews or
shortakes or mention to us the titles of books so that the forthcoming
version of FE will cover a good many European countries.*

* *

*Is there anybody interested in assisting us as a _guest editor_ or do
you know somebody interested in this function?*

* *

*In Germany, there exists an international archive on female music which
could perhaps be of help to you. *http://www.archiv-frau-musik.de/cms/ .
*We are looking forward to hearing from you soon and best wishes from*

* *
