Dear Colleagues:

The third International Congress of Eurasian Archaeology, ICEA,
Ethno-Cultural History of the Turkic Speaking People of Eurasia, from
prehistory to the middle age, will be held in Demirci, Manisa, Turkiye
between the dates of 23rd-25th May 2011, by Dokuz Eylul University
Center for Studies on Caucasian Central Asian Archaeology, KAM.

Below you will find important information about the Congress! I would
like to inform you that the accepted manuscripts will be published in
the Congress proceedings, before the Congress, so please read all
rules and instructions before preparing the full text for the ICEA
2011 Demirci!

ICEA 2011 Demirci General Information

Theme:

Deadline and Dates:

Application deadline: 4 March 2011 (application will be closed on 5
March 2011)

Abstract submission deadline: 4 March 2011

Announcement of the accepted participants: 11 March 2011

Full text submission deadline: 18 March 2011

Official invitation letter sending: 21-25 March 2011

Arrive in Demirci and registration: 22 May 2011

Congress dates: 23-24-25 May 2011

Leave from Demirci: 26 May 2011 (12.00)

Venue:

Congress Venue is the Demirci Belediyesi Kültür Merkezi, Demirci,
Manisa, Türkiye. The scientific events will take place at the one

Official language:

Congress Members will present their reports in Turkish, Russian, and
English. Abstracts and full texts will submit in English.

Presentation:

Power Point presentations (20 minutes) in Russian and English should
be prepared with Turkish, and Turkish presentations should be prepared
by English and it should be submitted on 22 May 2011.

Registration fee:

Registration fee covers, transportation (from airport to Demirci and
from Demirci to Airport) all breakfast, lunch (sandwiches) and dinner,
coffee-tea breaks, congress bag and etc.)

  - all participants should pay registration fee, before registration
    in Demirci, in 22 May 2011.
  - registration fee for members: 100-Euro (being a members of ICEA
    requires participating to the ICEA 2007 Cheshme or ICEA 2010 Tire)
  - registration fee for non-members: 125-Euro

Accommodation:

All accepted participants' accommodation expenses will be covered by
the Congress Organization; however, accommodation facilities for
participants in Demirci are limited!

Travel:

Participants will cover their all travel expenses.

Abstract and full text:

Abstract (one A4 page in English and one A4 page in Russian) should be
sent before 4 March 2011; full text (in English) with their appendix
have got to be submitted Congress Secretariat before 18 March 2011

Invitation letter:

An invitation letter will be sent to accepted participants who had
submitted their full texts with their appendixes before 18 March 2011.
This letter will be used only for the purpose of getting permission
and/or grant from institutions, and it will not provide any financial
profit to the participant.

Social events:

  - During the Congress, the following social events will take place;
  - Welcome Reception
  - Opening Ceremony
  - Closing Ceremony

Power Point submission:

Congress Secretariat will be ready to help speakers at the Congress
Center, on 22 May 2011, Sunday, till 23.30. The speakers who will use
Power Point are requested to have submitted to the Congress
Secretariat their materials in a CD before 22 May 2011, Sunday.

organizers.

  - All participants will be taken by the ICEA team, from the "Izmir Adnan
    Menderes Airport"
  - First shuttle bus to Demirci: 09.30
  - Second shuttle bus to Demirci: 14.30
  - Third (and last) shuttle bus to Demirci: 19.30
  - (no shuttle bus after 19.30)

All participants will be taken by the ICEA team, from the "Izmir City
Bus Terminal":

  - First shuttle bus to Demirci: 09.30
  - Second shuttle bus to Demirci: 14.30
  - Third (and last) shuttle bus to Demirci: 19.30
  - (no shuttle bus after 19.30)

Registration:

Registration will be done all day (22 May 2011, Sunday).
