American University of Central Asia is calling for applications for
teaching positions in 2011-2012. We seek faculty with a deep
appreciation of the liberal arts and a willingness to contribute to
the development of our inter-disciplinary, interactive and
student-oriented learning environment.
Faculty members at AUCA will be expected to teach three courses per
semester and be actively engaged in scholarly research as well as
student mentoring, supervision of senior projects and university-wide
activities. The language of instruction is English.
American University of Central Asia is an international,
multi-disciplinary learning community in the American liberal arts
tradition that develops enlightened and impassioned leaders for the
democratic transformation of Central Asia. It is located in Bishkek,
Kyrgyz Republic, and hosts about 1200 students from about 20
countries. Starting June 2011, in partnership with Bard College, AUCA

JMC program is seeking for a faculty to teach courses related to mass
media research. The ideal candidate should have a strong theoretical
background in media and mass communication. Relevant practical
experience will be an advantage.
