----- (M.A. Program in Middle East Studies). MAPMES is a one year M.A.
program that is taught in English at the Department of Middle East
Studies, Ben Gurion University. The program has been running
successfully since 2003 and has over 150 graduates. Some of them
completed our one year program and others have stayed on to write a
thesis. Many of them continued to leading graduate schools, have joined
NGOs or are working with a variety of international organizations.

This year we are launching a campaign whose goal is to reach out to
wider circles of students who may be interested in enrolling in the
program.

We would appreciate it if you could pass the information on to your
students -- whether by hanging posters of the program, or recommending
to them that they check our website. We believe that MAPMES is a superb
way to familiarize them with the Middle East.
