Tenured Associate or Full Professor

The Department of Sociology at the University of Chicago invites
applications for a position as a tenured associate or full professor
in the area of social demography and quantitative sociology to begin
in the academic year 2011-12.

letter of application describing plans for research and grant
applications, and 2) a curriculum vitae. Applicants must possess an
exceptional publication record, strong teaching experience, and a
proven ability to secure substantial grants. The successful applicant
will have a formal research affiliation with the National Opinion
Research Center in addition to a faculty appointment in the Department
of Sociology. Early application is strongly recommended. Review of
