The Department of Political and Cultural Change of ZEF is looking for
an experienced researcher for a post-doc-position (paid according to E
13 TV-L).

The successful candidate is expected to develop a proposal for an
innovative research project during his/her tenure at ZEF for
him/herself, and to submit it to a funding organization. The envisaged
research project should pertain to one of the following fields of
development research: governance, conflict, migration and/or
knowledge. Ideally (but not necessarily), the regional focus should be
on West Africa, Central Asia, South Asia and/or South East Asia.

The researcher should start on January 1, 2011. The initial contract
runs for one year with the possibility of renewal. Closing date:
