Koc University invites applications for full-time faculty positions
to contribute to its undergraduate and graduate programs in history.
Applicants from all areas of specialization will be considered.

Preference will be given to applicants specializing in Late Ottoman
and Early Turkish Republican history. Qualifications include a strong
commitment to scholarly research and high quality teaching. Candidates
should hold a Ph.D. degree (or be near completion) from an accredited
university and may be of any rank.

Koc University is located in Istanbul, Turkey. It is a highly selective
private university educating about 3500 students. The University is
committed to the pursuit of excellence in both teaching and research. The
language of instruction is English. Further information about the

(www.ku.edu.tr). The teaching load is two courses per semester. Salary and
benefits are very competitive, and faculty housing is offered as part of
the appointment.
