[Bilimsel Haber] Job post: Assistant Prof in Communications

Doðuþ University invites applications for a full-time position in the Department of Communication Sciences at the level of Assistant Professor. We are particularly interested in candidates with backgrounds in media and communications theory; media research and practice.
   
  The successful candidate will be required to develop and teach undergraduate courses in some of the following areas: mass communications, communications theory, political economy of communications, media analysis and research methods.
   
  Candidates should have a PhD in Communications or Media Studies by the time of appointment (September 2008) and should be fluent in English. Evidence of scholarly promise and teaching experience will be a major consideration.  
   
  Applications should include a cover letter stating research interests, curriculum vitae, and three letters of recommendation.
