The Oxford Centre for Islamic Studies, a Recognised Independent Centre of
the University of Oxford, is engaged in the multi-disciplinary study of the
Muslim world.
Applications for this full-time post are invited from experienced
professionals with a substantial background in academic publishing,
including the commissioning of new works. You will be responsible for the
production, editing and quality of the Centre’s publications, which
currently include the Journal of Islamic Studies and The Makers of Islamic
Civilization series. You will need outstanding organisational skills and
meticulous attention to detail in order to manage the complete workflow from
receipt of copy to eventual publication and dissemination. The salary
offered will be in the range £27,393-£36,052. Further particulars are
