MONMOUTH UNIVERSITY's Department of History and Anthropology invites
applications for a tenure track assistant professor in Middle East
history. PhD preferred; ABD considered; teaching experience required.
Candidates must be able to teach both sections of the Western
Civilization in World Perspective sequence, upper level and graduate
courses in area of specialization in the history of the Middle East, and
in the MA specialization in World History. The University emphasizes
quality teaching, scholarly research, University and Departmental
service, and the ability to work constructively with colleagues, as well
as the innovative use of instructional technology. Teaching load is 3-3.
