[Bilimsel Haber] CFP: Men and Marriage (4/13/07; M/MLA, 11/8/07-11/11/07)

We are currently soliciting abstracts for the 2007 M/MLA permanent 
section, Gender Studies: Male.

This panel seeks theoretical treatments of the relationship between
men/masculinities and marriage in literature, film, drama, art and 
popular culture from any historical period. We welcome papers that will 
complicate our understanding of this relationship and history. Topics 
might include domestic men, feminist or queer critiques of marriage, 
fictions of miscegenation or anti-miscegenation, bachelors and marriage, 
etc.

Please send your 250 word abstract by April 13, 2007 to Dr. Maglina
Lubovich, University of St. Thomas/Department of English,

in Cleveland, OH from November 8-11, 2007.
