BI.LGI. UNIVERSITY July 20-23, 2006, I.stanbul, Turkey*

*Exhibition and Promotional Opportunities*
2006 Associaton for Cultural Studies Crossroads Conference will take
place in I.stanbul, Turkey, and will be sponsored by the Cultural Sudies
Graduate Programme of I.stanbul Bilgi University. The conference has
already attracted considerable attention, and the number of participants
is expected to rise over 500 participants from all over the world. The
following promotional opportunities are available.

*Exhibition*

There will be an exhibition in the main entrance of the Dolapdere campus
next to the social area open to participants during the conference,
giving you ample opportunity for presenting your goods and services.
Since the registration stand and internet facilities will be in the same
hall, we expect the participants to spend most of their time in this
space. Exhibition booth can be a "table top" for brochures containing a
table + chair or a stand with a space of 4-12 sq.m. Booth constructions,
data or electrical connection or other technical equipment should be
ordered separately. Exhibition space will be available on first-come,
first-serve basis. The fee includes one participant badge. Extra badges
can be ordered from the Secretariat (same fee as for participants).

*Participant Pack Inserts*

Companies are offered the opportunity to provide promotional literature
to be inserted into the participant packs. These packs include the final
conference program and participant list and will be given to all
conference participants upon registration in I.stanbul. Literature can
be up to A4 in size and can be single-sided or double-sided documents or
brochures (approx. weight 100 grams). If possible, please send with your
booking an indication of the sort of document you would like to include.
The organizers reserve the right to reject the material offered.

*Advertising Space*

Your advertisement would appear in the conference program which contains
a copy of the timed conference program with synopses of the
presentations. The conference program will be given to all participants
upon registration in I.stanbul. The program will be published in B&W and
the size of the advertisement is 1/1 page.

Your attendance is most welcome to join the social program of the
conference by paying the fees accordingly. Accomodation can be arranged
through the Secretariat.

As I.stanbul Bilgi University is a non-profit making organizations; due
to financial regulations, we will not be able to send invoices. However,
appropriate donation receipts will be provided.

Again, due to financial regulation, you will not be able to sell books;
however, you can take orders

Balnak Logistics Group is the official customs broker and freight
forwarder for the Crossroads2006 at I.stanbul Bilgi University.

There are two ways of material entry into Turkey:

1) Temporary Entry: Ship materials into Turkey and ship ALL materials out.
2) Permanent Entry: Ship materials into Turkey and ship NO materials out.

Bilgi University will accept book donations from exhibitors wishing to
donate books after the conference.

Please follow the guidelines to ensure material delivery:


# Arrange for transportation and/or customs with Balnak Logistics Group.
# Schedule shipments to arrive between July 10 and 24 July.
# Give prior notice of shipment.
# Obtain confirmation before shipment is sent. It is the responsibility
of each exhibiting company with the transportation and customs
requirements of the Turkish government. ISA has secured a customs broker
and international shipping company to faciliate this process for our
clients. ISA is not responsible for the delivery or return of the
exhibition materials. Please contact Balnak Logistics Group or your
local international shipping company for assistance.

NO shipment should arrive to Bilgi University. All boxes should be
clearly marked CROSSROADS 2006 and sent to the name of Balnak Logistics
