Lecturer in the History of the Near and Middle East
Lecturer A/B salary: £27,467 – £40,582 p.a

We propose to appoint a Lecturer in the History of the Near and Middle
East from 1 September 2007. You will have an internationally recognised
research record supported by high-quality publications, and you will
specialise in the period c. 1000–1800. It is essential that you are able
to carry out research in at least one of the languages of the region. It
will be an advantage if you can teach the history of the period from
1800 to the present. You will be expected to 
contribute to teaching at both BA and MA levels, and to supervise
research students working on the history of the Near and Middle East.
