The Political Science Department of the University of Ankara and the
International Cultural Research Network are hosting the Exploring
Cultural Perspectives Conference in Antalya, Turkey next 11-15 June.

Although culture is the cornerstone of any society it is never static.

The objective of this five-day international conference - June 11-15,
2008 - presented by the International Cultural Research Network and
hosted by the Faculty of Political Science of Ankara University, is to
address the realities of the world's vibrant cultures from an
experiential perspective rather than the theoretical applications that
are the mainstays of academe but are sometimes misleading.

The hope to discuss the infallibility of theories that the majority of
the world's citizens are unaware of and apply a new way of thinking
about culture, diversity, multiculturalism and interculturalism.

Through round table discussions, workshops or one-hour individual
presentations, we invite delegates to discuss practical experiences and
participate in achieving some practical solutions.

Topics for this conference are:

Childhood and Youth
Education
Globalization
Health
Politics
Social Research

Abstracts are accepted until December 30, 2007.
Replies will be sent out by January 15, 2008.

You must be an ICRN member to be a delegate at the conference.

Register for an ICRN membership online.

There are only 20 presentation spaces remaining so we expect the
conference to fill up.
