Eastern Michigan University, Assistant Professor of the history of the Middle East since 1798 (Application review begins: December 15, 2006)

Eastern Michigan University's Department of History and Philosophy invites applications for a tenure track assistant professorship beginning fall 2007 in the history of the Middle East since 1798. The successful candidate will teach introductory courses in world history and upper division and graduate courses in the history of the modern Middle East, and will have the opportunity to develop courses in other areas of expertise. Applicants who have completed the PhD by August 31, 2007 are strongly preferred.
