Energy is essential for our way of life, our everyday routines, our
feelings of comfort, how we organize our homes. At the same time energy
consumption is a major source of pollution and energy itself is a
limited resource. If we wish to understand the way we live we have to
take a historical perspective on the way we use energy, to look at –
Energy and Culture.

Papers presented will include subjects such as: Energy and Home,
Spending and Saving, Heating and Lighting, Energy and City.
