[Bilimsel Haber] Turkish International Studies Association (TISA)

[Onur İnal]

Dear Colleagues,

Please forward this message to any scholar, graduate student, or email list that you think is related, so that we can build and strengthen our scholarly community.

We would like to invite you to join the Turkish International Studies Association (TISA). The Turkish International Studies Association (TISA), a partner of International Studies Association (ISA), is a network of scholars working on Turkey. TISA brings together international relations and political science scholars from all specialties and regions within the academe in order to expand awareness and understanding of international politics.

We would like to reach out to as many colleagues as possible so that people working on similar themes and topics could relate to one another and find ease in submitting their individual papers as a panel to prominent conventions as American Political Science Association and International Studies Association.

The Turkish-ISA will have a certain quota of panels from the ISA and we will utilize this to bring together scholars working on Turkey. We have a quota for panels for Chicago ISA Annual Convention 2007. We are looking for paper proposals for ISA annual convention. If you would like to submit for ISA, we encourage you to send your paper title and abstract Until June 25 so that we can organize our panels.

Contact: halit.tagma at asu.edu
Visit our official website at : http://www.turkishisa.org/
and become a member of our TISA listserv.

We will also be promoting graduate student's academic efforts and to this end we will hold a 'best graduate student paper' contest that will be awarded to a graduate student that presented in that year's ISA or APSA convention.

Please join our Yahoogroup to share and learn about Turkish political scientists and International Relations scholars. To become a member to our
