2006 Oral History Grants
The Kentucky Oral History Commission is accepting applications for their
Spring
2006 grants. Applications are due March 1, 2006. KOHC grants provide
financial
assistance to both amateur and professional oral historians to conduct oral
history research projects on topics of particular significance to
Kentucky. The
three grant categories are as follows: Project Grants, Transcription
Grants, and
Technical Assistance Grants. Project Grants provide assistance up to $5,000;
Transcription Grants pay up to $80 per interview hour; Technical Assistance
provide technology and training but no financial assistance.
