From Memory Guide to Oral History - website

In light of several recent enquires about getting started in oral
history, the
following website may be of interest:

www.nzhistory.net.nz/from-memory

This website contains a detailed guide to doing oral history, covering the
essential practical and ethical issues involved. It supports the From Memory
Oral History Programme that was launched last year in New Zealand. The
aim of
this public programme is to gather the memories of New Zealand's war
veterans,
however the information in the guide is general and applies to all oral
history.
