The CEA-CC invites proposals for a conference titled "Our Watery World:
Humans and the Sea."
Panels include the following:

a.. The Life Aquatic: Amphibian and Aquatic Animals
a.. Monsters and Monstrosities of the Sea
a.. Ecocriticism: The Endangered Sea
a.. The Sea as Frontier
a.. Empire and the Sea
  Please send 200-250 word proposal to Vartan Messier and Nandita Batra
at cea_caribbeanchapter at hotmail.com by 21 August 2006.  Proposals may be
sent by email as part of a text message but not as attachments.
Presenters must be registered members of the CEA-CC at the time of the
conference.
