The Department of History at the Northeastern Illinois University (NEIU) =
invites applications for an assistant professor position in Islamic =
Civilization, to begin August 2006. Ability to teach general surveys in =
the field, as well as, upper-division and graduate courses in the area =
of specialization. A variety of approaches and methodologies would be =
welcomed. The successful candidate may also be asked to participate in =
the NEIU First Year Experience program. Ph.D. must be in hand at the =
time of appointment. Research and service are supported and expected.=20
