CONFERENCE CALL
The conference "Spiritual Heritage of the Nations of the Eastern and =
Central Europe in the Context of the Contemporary Intercivilization =
Dialog" is to be held at the Institute of Philosophy of the National =
Academy of Sciences of Belarus in Minsk, November 17-- 18, 2005
Deadline for proposals: September 10, 2005.
We consider the following aspects as important for putting under =
discussion:
# Dynamics of values and world-outlooks orientations of the Nations of =
Eastern and Central Europe.
# Intercultural dialogues: history and the present.
# Philosophical and methodological problems of theprocesses of =
globalisation and preservation of national and cultural identities;
# Philosophical thought and intellectual history of the Old Rus and of =
the Great Duchy of Lithuania;=20
# Methodology of the History of Philosophy=20
# Phenomena of religious and ethnic tolerances of the cultures of the =
countries of Central and Eastern Europe .
Working languages of the Conference are Belarusian, Russian, English, =
and Polish.
Scholars who are interested in submitting papers should send abstracts =
of 300 -- 600 words and short CV no later a September 10, 2005 to the =
