Dear Madam, Sir,
We would like to draw your attention to the initiative of the University =
Centre St-Ignatius Antwerp to organise a summer seminar on the topic of =
"Faith-based Radicalism: Christianity, Islam and Judaism between =
Constructive Activism and Destructive Fanaticism" that will take place =
in Antwerp, Belgium from September 14th till 25th 2005.
Would you be so kind to disseminate this information to all graduate and =
postgraduate students and scholars in theology, the humanities =
(religious studies, philosophy, linguistics, history and literature) or =
social sciences (anthropology, sociology, political sciences, law and =
economics), who are likely to be interested and are involved in active =
research work pertaining to this subject matter?
On the UCSIA website(www.ucsia.org or =
www.ua.ac.be/main.asp?c=3D*UCSIA2&n=3D25249)you will find 4 documents: a =
call for papers, the programme of the summer seminar, a call for =
application and an application form (to be returned).
To be eligible we should receive in return: a completed application =
form, curriculum vitae, copy of the highest obtained diploma, Statement =
of purpose (max. 2 pages) and a paper (min. 5 pages) - all to be =
completed in English.
Tuition fee, accommodation and meals are furnished by the organizer. In =
principle, the participant only has to bear his or her travel expenses =
and his or her personal expenses.
