The First International Symposium of BSEC studies will meet in 12-13 May, 2=
005 in Tbilisi, the capital of Georgia to discuss the past, present and f=
uture of BSEC.

BSEC ? Past, Present, Future

The topics to be proposed are grouped into three main categories:

1. BSEC (organization, structure, science, education, culture, sport, trans=
port, communication, energy, agriculture, tourism, business, trade, econo=
my)
2. Political aspects of BSEC?s activities (security and stability, anti-ter=
rorism policy, conflict resolution)
3. BSEC in cooperation with European Union and UN Agencies. =20

The scholars and researchers as well as politicians and businessmen willing=
 to participate in the symposium should fill in the form attached (the fo=
rm can be copied as many as needed) and send it to the International Blac=
k Sea University in Tbilisi along with a 150 word summary/abstract of the=
ir paper no later than 20th of February, 2005. The form and the summary s=
hould be submitted electronically by means of internet. Optionally they c=
an be sent by regular post or by fax.

The scientific committee will evaluate all the summaries and selected ones =
will receive the Final Invitation.
