GENOCIDE JOURNAL AND CALL FOR PAPERS
The editors of Genocide Studies and Prevention are pleased to announce =
that we welcome submissions for upcoming issues of this recently =
established scholarly journal.=20
We are particularly interested in receiving submissions for an upcoming =
special issue on the Armenian genocide. Focusing on one of the first
genocides of the 20th century, this issue will highlight new research, =
as well as the continuing struggle against denial. We also encourage =
submissions on related themes such as the victimization of other groups =
during the genocide.
Genocide Studies and Prevention (GSP) is the official journal of the =
International Association of Genocide Scholars. It publishes scholarly =
articles and reviews on all aspects of genocide and welcomes in =
particular comparative analyses and articles on prevention and =
intervention of genocide. GSP is an interdisciplinary, peer-reviewed =
journal that provides a forum for scholarly discourse for researchers, =
practitioners, governmental policy makers, educators and students.
The journal is founded and co-sponsored by the International Association =
of Genocide Studies - Israel W. Charny, President and Chair of Journal =
Committee, and the International Institute for Genocide and Human Rights =
Studies (a division of the Zoryan Institute) - Roger Smith, Chair of =
Academic Board of Directors. Genocide Studies and Prevention is =
published by the University of Toronto Press.
The co-editors of the journal are Alex Alvarez, Herb Hirsch, Eric =
Markusen, and Samuel Totten.=20
Editorial Advisors include: Paul Bartrop, Vahakn Dadrian, Jerry Fowler, =
Barbara Harff, Alex Hinton, Richard Hovannisian, Rene Lemarchand, Mark
Levene, Robert Melson, Linda Melvern, Martin Mennecke, William Schabas, =
and Scott Straus.
For more information, including submission guidelines, or if interested =
in writing book reviews or review essays for GSP, please contact our =
