Dear Colleagues,

The International Journal of Turkish Studies invites scholars
of Ottoman, Turkish and Turkic studies to submit original articles
for publication in future issues of the journal. Our past three issues
have been thematic in nature (Mutiny and Rebellion in the Ottoman Empire,
Ottoman Borderlands, and the forthcoming issue on Ottoman Bosnia),
however, we encourage the submission of all scholarly works covering the
Ottoman and Republican periods, as well as developments in the Caucasus,
Central Asia, Balkans and Middle East related to Turkey. All of our
articles are peer reviewed and are indexed in Historical Abstracts.
For additional information on submitting an article for publication,
please contact us.

I would also like to draw your attention to a special offer to acquire
the complete collection of the International Journal of Turkish Studies.
Volumes 1-9 (13 issues in all) are now available for $150 (an additional
$15 for international orders). This would be a great addition to
any library collection and an invaluable tool to any scholar of
Turkish studies. A complete table of contents of the issues are
available upon request. Volume 10 will be available within a month.

Sincerely,

Bob Zens Kemal H. Karpat
