Women's studies panels:  Why we still need Women's Studies: Our Work is
Never Done!

As women predominantly in the United States and other Western nations
continue to realize ever greater achievement and opportunity, many have
begun to question the ongoing necessity of women's studies and feminism.
"Hasn't it all been done already?=A8 some ask.  Papers and presentations
are sought that explore the enduring relevance of fields such as women's
studies and the importance it maintains in today's society, not only in
America but also around the world, including but certainly not limited to=
:
	Politics
	The arts (literature, performance, visual arts, film, media, music, pop
culture, etc=A1K)
	The body
	The workforce
	Religion
	Family
	Law and government
	Culture
	Community
	Global issues
	Science and technology
	Education and pedagogy
	War
	Health
	Sports
	The environment
	Activism
... as well as any other suitable topic that addresses women's issues!

Interdisciplinary approaches and all scholarly fields are welcome.
Presenters also need not have a university affiliation; we embrace all
forms of experiential knowledge potential presenters might offer.

Presenters will have approximately 15 minutes.  Please send
paper/presentation title and 250 word abstract along with name(s) of
proposed presenters, email address, mailing address, phone number, and
institutional affiliation as electronic submission to:
