Dear Sir/Madam

Launched in August 2004, The Migration Research Program at Ko=E7
University (MiReKoc, http://home.ku.edu.tr/~mirekoc),a jointly initiated=20
grant-giving program by Ko=E7 University and the Foundation for Population,=
=20
Migration, and Environment (a Zurich-based Foundation), invites researchers=
=20
working on migration issues to present their migration-related research=20
proposals to the MiReKoc Administration.

Promoting multidisciplinary and interdisciplinary researches on diverse=20
aspects of the migration in Turkey, MiReKoc aims at supporting interest and=
=20
co-operation among researchers dealing with issues on migration, developing=
=20
researches and joint projects, and producing reliable information based on=
=20
research findings that can contribute to realistic policy and=20
decision-making processes.

Under the light of these purposes and concerns, the Program holds an
annual competition for research grants and welcomes researchers to send=20
research proposals until November 10, 2004. The program language is English=
=20
and researchers are expected to submit their proposals, using the MiReKoc=20
Application Form.

Further information about the application process to MiReKoc is on=20
http://home.ku.edu.tr/~mirekoc .

Sincerely,

Assoc. Prof. Ahmet *=E7duygu
Director, MiReKoc

An important remark: The proposals are welcome till 10 November 2004
