[Discussion] CFP: Race, Gender, and Class in Children's Literature (6/30/04; 9/23/04-9/25/04)

We are now accepting Proposals/Submissions to the Race, Gender, and
Class in the Twenty-First Century Conference to be held September 23-25
(Thursday-Saturday), 2004, in New Orleans, Louisiana (Hampton Inn
Downtown/French Quarter Area)
Submitting a Proposal:
1) Create a title page for your submission. The title page should include:
(a) title of the submission; ( b) topic area of the submission;(c
presentation format; (d) name(s) of the author(s); (e) department(s) and
affiliation(s); (f) mailing address(es); (g) e-mail address(es); (h)
phone number(s); (I)fax number(s); (j) corresponding author if different
than lead author.
E-mail your abstract and/or paper, along with a title page, to Jo Ann
Bamdas (Conference Organizer of Race Gender, and Class in Children and
Adolescent Literature) at jbamdas@aol.com AND Dr. Jean Belkhir at
Jbelkhir@suno.edu. Receipt of submissions will be acknowledged via
E-mail within 48 hours.

Submissions will only be published in the 2004 RGC Conference special
issue(s) if at least one of the authors registers and attends the
Conference. More information will be provided upon acceptance.
