[Discussion] intersection of technical communication and popular culture

Proposals for papers and panels on the intersection of technical
communication and popular culture are welcome in areas such as the
following:

    * Genres: websites, television, flyers, reports
    * Ideology, power, and ethics
    * Pedagogical implications: how do we *teach* these new methods and
      genres?
    * Collaboration, structure, and culture: how does the workplace
      affect these?
    * Philosophies and research methods
    * Visual theory, design, usability, especially of online environments

Please send a 200-word proposal to Lacy Landrum for consideration.

Share your ideas and join us for the 26th meeting of the Southwest/Texas
Popular and American Culture Associations Conference in Albuquerque, New
Mexico.
