The primary focus of this conference is to explore the power of=20
storytelling in the recuperation of memory, collective identity=20
formation, and the presence of oral traditions in literature and the=20
sister arts. All forms of storytelling narrative (oral and written),=20
performative, cinematic, musical, and hybrid as well as methodologies=20
(literary, linguistic, sociological, political, anthropological, etc.)=20
will be considered as long as they relate to the themes explicit and=20
implicit in the title of this conference. Papers may be presented in any=20
of the following languages: Portuguese, Castilian, English, and French.
