Encyclopedia of Globalization

ABC-CLIO, a California-based academic and reference publisher, is
seeking contributing scholars for a two-volume reference work on
post-World War II globalization. The project is aimed at the
undergraduate level. The General Editor is Dr. Ashish Vaidya, professor
of economics at California State University Channel Islands.

The encyclopedia will include articles on the phenomenon of
globalization from an economic, international business, political,
legal, and environmental perspective. There will be entries on major
trade and investment issues, business and economic sectors, regionalism,
trade blocs, and international organizations, as well as major
environmental, legal, political and cultural issues. Articles will vary
in length from 3000-6000 words (depending on significance of topic).
Encyclopedia of Globalization will also include a number of ancillary
features, such as primary source documents on trade blocs and
organizations, illustrations and maps of trade blocs and regional
organizations, and tables, charts, and statistical information
illustrating data trends and significant events.

We are seeking contributors for the last few articles remaining in this
project. Contributors will receive full authorial credit, a modest cash
honorarium and/or copy of the full encyclopedia set (depending on
contribution length and contributor preference).

If you are interested in contributing to this exciting and important
reference project--one we hope will be the definitive reference work on
post WWI globalization--we would be happy to email you a prospectus with
a full description of the project--with deadline, compensation, and
other pertinent information, including a table of contents. Please
contact Dr. Vaidya at his email address.
