[Discussion] Kazakh Civilization

CONF./CFP- Kazakh Civilization, Kainar University, Almaty, July 6-9,
2003

On July 6-9, 2003 the International Scientific Conference "The Kazakh
Civilization in the Context of the World Historical Process" will be
held in
the Kainar University. The Conference devoted to 1600th anniversary of
Attila is held with Institute CEDIMES Pantheon-Assas Paris-2.

The following topics are suggested for discussion:

 * The modern classification of Civilization;

 * Civilizations: culture, economics and war;

 * Person's role in the civilizational development;

 * Main values, institutions and dynamics of the Kazakh Civilization;

 * The Kazakh Civilization and problems of cultural identity;

 * The historical experience of the civilizational co-operation and
   interactions;

 * The Kazakh Civilization in the contemporary conditions.

The text must be edited scientifically, stylistically and technically
and
not to contain information of the limited spreading. Material is to be
ended
with the summary on two languages with the exception of language of the
main
text: Kazakh, Russian (Resume) and English (Summary). Words Resume ,
Summary
and also Literature are to be given in the middle of the page using the
semi-reach script and the explaining text of 4-5 lines with the
compulsory
introducing the title of your report in quotation marks is to be given
below. The participation in the conference is $50.

Publication of the materials will be carried out in accordance with the
requirements that are demanded to scientific publication before the
beginning of the conference.

30,
2003 and the materials of the reports before June 10, 2003 on the

July 5 - day of arrival

July 6 - 9.00 registration, 10.00 an excursion, visiting cultural
activities, 19.00 visiting a performance;

July 7 - from 10.00 till 18.00 opening of the conference at KAINAR
University; sessions.

July 8 - from 10.00 till 13.00 plenary session (at the Conference Hall
of
Hyatt Regency Hotel); (13.00 14.00 break), 17.00 conference closing,
19.00
banquet

July 9 - 10.00 meeting with the students

July 10 - departure
