The Ottoman Empire and the Rise of Balkan Nationalisms, 1789-1832.
An international conference, 13-14 Dec. 2003

The Department of History and Archaeology of the University of Crete
announces an international conference, which will be held in Rethymno,
Greece, on 13-14 December, 2003 ("Xenia" Students' Cultural Center).
The topic of the conference is  "The Ottoman Empire and the Rise of
Balkan Nationalisms, 1789-1832: Conflict, Transformation, Adaptation".
