The editorial office of THE HISTORIAN is currently accepting submissions
for
> publication consideration for an upcoming special issue of the journal
> dedicated to the theme of imperialism.  We encourage submissions from a broad
> range of subjects addressing the impact and motivations of imperialistic
> expansion of any time period.  Subjects may include but are not limited to
> the following analyses:

> postcolonial culture
> migration
> racial and ethnic relations
> citizenship
> industrialization
> modernization and science
> commerce and economy

> Manuscripts should be no more than 6,000 words, exclusive of footnotes.
> Footnotes should conform to The Chicago Manual of Style, 14th edition.  The
> author's name should be included on title page only.  Three copies of the
> completed manuscript, double-spaced with one-inch margins (right margin
> unjustified) are required for submission.  Authors should also send a disk
> copy in IBM format plus a one hundred word summary abstract of the article.
