Call for Papers for the Journal of Southeast European and Black Sea Studies

The Journal of Southeast European and Black Sea Studies (SEEBSS) is a
refereed academic periodical published three times per year by the
Hellenic Foundation of European and Foreign Policy (ELIAMEP) in
cooperation with Frank Cass. The principal disciplines covered by the
journal are politics, political economy, international relations and
modern history, while other disciplinary approaches are accepted as
appropriate. SEEBSS takes both an academic and a practical,
policy-oriented approach, covering a much neglected area.

The Journal of Southeast European and Black Sea Studies seeks to present
and evaluate new analytical paradigms for the region and attempts to
break away from traditional, ethnocentric approaches by developing a
deeper and more fruitful understanding of the area.

Articles should be within a range of 7,000 to 10, 000 words (including
notes and references). Each article should begin with an italicized
summary of 100 words describing main arguments and conclusions. A
biographical note of 50 words should be included on a separate cover
sheet, along with the author's full address and other contact information.

Articles submitted to the journal should be original contributions. All
manuscripts should be sent electronically (preferred method) or by normal
mail (in case of hard copy submisions, please send them in triplicate) at
the following address:
