resisters arguably presented a unique example of the 21<sup>st</sup> century
form of political resistance: spontaneous, heterogeneous and humorous. With all
its advantages and challenges, this new array of modes of resistance is waiting
to be researched and analysed. We are aiming to bring together different
perspectives from different disciplines on this fresh phenomenon, in a book
with the provisional working title “Theoretical and Political Challenges of the
Gezi Resistance”.</span></p>

<p class="" style="margin-left:0cm;text-align:justify"><span style="font-family:Arial;background:none repeat scroll 0% 0% white" lang="EN-GB">We are
seeking authors who will submit a chapter on social, political and theoretical
impacts of the Gezi Resistance Movement in Turkey. Each chapter should include
a discussion on social and political impacts and challenges of the Gezi Movement
focusing on power relations and social movements through actor and agency analyses,
political discourse analyses, institutions and structures and sociology of
movement. We are looking for articles that deal with forms of resistance,
structures and stateness that have changed through Gezi. </span></p>

<p class="" style="margin-left:0cm;text-align:justify"><span style="font-family:Arial;background:none repeat scroll 0% 0% white" lang="EN-GB">We are
hoping to find individual or co-authored submissions on social protests in each
of the above mentioned points and beyond. A multi-disciplinary compilation of
discussions is intended. Papers focusing on other critical aspects are also
welcomed.</span></p>

should follow APA style. Manuscripts must be submitted in Microsoft Word format
(for PC). Papers must be 15 – 20 Pages written in Times New Roman 12 point. Pictures
and photos used in the paper must also be sent separately as jpeg files. </span></p>

<p class="" style="margin-left:0cm;text-align:justify"><span style="font-family:Arial;background:none repeat scroll 0% 0% white" lang="EN-GB">The pictures
should be assigned and the sources mentioned as the copyrights to the pictures will
have to be received from the relevant agencies. </span></p>
