*April 15-16, 2010<br><br>The objective of this conference is to profile the wide variety of research and scholarship occurring at the graduate student level (both Masters and PhD) within the fields of Turkish and Ottoman Studies. Papers are therefore welcomed on all social science topics related to Turkish or Ottoman Studies, which may include but are not limited to history, political science, literature, environmental studies, and the arts. <br>
<br>Abstracts should be a maximum of one page (250 words), and must be submitted to uwturkishstud<a href="http://groups.google.com.tr/groups/unlock?_done=/group/turk-tarihciler/browse_thread/thread/0ade4a3cc65848d8&amp;msg=d043f15b7a024044" target="_parent">...</a>@<a href="http://gmail.com">gmail.com</a> by February 1, 2010. In order to facilitate our blind selection process, please include your name, title of paper, institutional affiliation, email address, mailing address, and contact telephone number as a cover sheet.  Only the title of the paper should be listed on the abstract itself.  The authors of selected papers will be notified of their acceptance by February 21, 2010. <br>
