 Network<BR>Institute of Popular Culture, Academy of Tirana, Albania<BR>Municipality of Korca<BR>Department of History and Archeology, University of Ioannina<BR>Department of Ethnology, St. Cyril and Methodious University, Skopje<BR>Department of Balkans Studies, University of Western Macedonia, Florina.<BR><BR>Eligibility:<BR>The conference is open to all undergraduate and M.A. students from universities<BR>members of the Border Crossings Network as well as other students from the area<BR>and beyond who might find the network interesting. There are capacities for<BR>approximately one hundred participants. Students are expected to present their<BR>papers in any way related to the main topic of the conference. The presentation<BR>should not exceed ten minutes (plus 5 minutes for discussion). Power-point and<BR>multimedia presentations are welcome.<BR><BR>Application procedure:<BR>Applicants should send their personal data, including university affiliation,<BR>and paper
 abstracts (around 15 lines) to the following e-mail address:<BR><A href="http://us.f300.mail.yahoo.com/ym/Compose?To=bordcros08@yahoo.gr" target=_blank rel=nofollow ymailto="mailto:bordcros08@yahoo.gr"><FONT color=#003399>bordcros08@yahoo.gr</FONT></A> as well as to the responsible coordinator at the home<BR>university.<BR><BR>Deadline for submissions is March 25, 2008. Successful applicants will be<BR>notified by April 20, 2008.<BR><BR>Cost:<BR>There is no conference fee. However, the organisers are not in position to cover<BR>travel costs and the cost of accommodation for participants. Under request, the<BR>organisers might subsidize basic accommodation costs for students from<BR>lower-income countries.<BR><BR>Participants will be accommodated in double or triple hotel rooms at an A class<BR>Hotel in Korca. The cost for accommodation, including breakfast, is 20 EUR per<BR>night for participants coming from EU countries (excluding Rumania and<BR>Bulgaria) and 10 EUR per
