<P><FONT face=Garamond size=4>The deadline for submitting abstracts for the 2008
MESA Annual Meeting in Washington, DC is 5:00pm MST on Friday, February 15. All
proposals must reach our office by that time in order to be considered. The Call
for Papers instructions and forms are available at </FONT><A

<P><FONT face=Garamond size=4>IMPORTANT: You must not only be a MESA member for
2008 (your membership is current) but be pre-registered in order for the program
committee to review your proposal. If you do not meet these requirements, your
submission will not be forwarded to the program committee.</FONT></P>
<P><FONT face=Garamond size=4>We are anticipating very heavy activity on our
website during the next couple of weeks, becoming especially busy just before
and the day of February 15. We recommend that you register now if you are
intending to submit a proposal and you have not already registered.</FONT></P>
