UNIVERSITY LECTURESHIP IN HISTORY</STRONG><BR><BR>Applications are invited for a
contractually limited position as a Lecturer in the Department of History at
Simon Fraser University, with a specialization in Middle East and Islamic
Studies. The contract is for eight months beginning on September 1, 2006.
The appointee will be expected to teach two courses in the fall term, 2006 and
two courses in the spring term, 2007, including an introductory course on
Classical Islamic Civilization. Preferred qualifications include a
completed PhD and university teaching experience. For details on teaching
