is working on an edited book proposal project, which is still in the beginning
stages. It is an edited book about the war/revolution and images of Muslim
women.<BR><BR>The following geographical area is included (can be

Tajikistan<BR><BR>Focus of the book: This book is focusing on the subject of
woman and war in the recent history of the Muslim nations. The aim of the book
is to look at how women's images in both textual along with visual forms (in
variety of medium such as posters, banners, stamps, murals, sculptures, video
clipping, flyers, and etc.) have been used to promote the war for political and
/or religious causes. At this point the scope of the project is limited to just
a general theme, but it will be refined and elaborated later.<BR><BR>Inquiries
